How to treat the surface of U-type pipe clamp by duplex pipe clamp manufacturer
1. Blackened. Blackening is a common method for heat treatment of U-shaped pipe clamp. The principle is to produce a layer of oxide film on the surface of U-shaped pipe clamp to isolate air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention. Blackening treatment can be adopted when the appearance requirements of U-shaped pipe clamp are not high.
2. Electroplating. As required, the surface of U-shaped pipe clamp shall be plated with gold, silver, copper, tin, nickel and chromium. The appearance of U-shaped pipe clamp shall show the plated metal color. The time required for salt spray test shall be more than 24 hours. Electro galvanizing technology is a traditional metal coating treatment technology, which provides basic corrosion resistance for the surface of U-shaped pipe clamp.
3. Painting. Apply paint (colored paint or Dacromet) on the surface of U-type pipe clamp as required, with the appearance of silver, black and color, and the salt spray test shall be more than 240 hours. The purpose is to obtain good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and antifriction.
4. Phosphating. It is a process of chemical and electrochemical reaction to form phosphate chemical conversion film, which is called phosphating film. Its purpose is to provide a layer of protective film for U-type pipe clamp, prevent metal corrosion to a certain extent, and improve adhesion and anti-corrosion ability.
